I embarked on my journey as a Massage Therapist in January 2022, prompted by a personal health scare that led to a career change. In my practice and guiding philosophy, I am committed to not only healing but also educating my patients, enabling them to lead improved and healthier lives.
How I Became a Massage Therapist
My journey into massage therapy was driven by a deep desire to assist individuals who, like me, had grappled with pain and imbalances. Throughout my twenties, I battled chronic pain, embarking on an arduous path to address musculoskeletal weaknesses I had uncovered.
Over the span of a decade, I diligently worked on strengthening my body, exploring various methodologies and practices, and amassing knowledge and skills to address emerging issues. Amidst this process of trial and error, self-massage and myofascial release emerged as key tools in managing my chronic pain.
My obsession with health and fitness grew, with a focus on self-diagnosing problems and gradually fortifying areas of weakness. Poor posture was a significant contributor to my challenges, and over time, I not only excelled in massage but also became adept at diagnosing the root causes and effects of bodily pain.
As my career in massage therapy progressed, I discovered an intuitive ability to identify trigger points in others. My initial quest to heal myself transformed into a passionate commitment to helping others through massage therapy, a journey I wholeheartedly embrace.
Since January 2022, I’ve taken great pride in my work, having already assisted hundreds of individuals in finding relief from pain. During my massage sessions, I offer advice and recommendations to establish daily movement habits that can address existing conditions and alleviate discomfort.
